Lys: Didn't Your Mother Teach You Not To Stare?

|
Aithne pushed stray hairs out of her face for perhaps the fifth time. Finally she stopped her work and cast about for a rag or towel. She found a fairly clean one at hand, just a little floury, and swiftly tied it around her head. It would not do to have hairs in the bread. In doing so, she noticed a boy staring at her. She'd seen him in her periphery, but thought he was occupied with something else. Now she realized he'd been staring at her the whole time.

Slightly unnerved by the attention, she gave him a polite smile and said, "Hello. Would you like something?"
