Lys: An Understanding Shoulder

Having eaten, Aithne felt better. She was still tired, but the food helped and she had a bit more energy. Now if she could just stop thinking about Da for awhile...

Her head began to hurt, and she rested it against Cathair's shoulder as they walked out. She liked how he let her do that. So many other men would wrap their arm around their girls. It seemed sweet, until one's head was put at an odd angle because of it. But somehow Cathair understood.

They left the kitchen that way, and crossing the atrium, found Jason at his work.

"Jason," asked Aithne, her head still pressed against Cathair's arm, "Where is the Guttersnipe? I wanted to tell her something..."
