Aithne accepted the cheese with a quiet "thank you". There was a lot there, even for a girl who had not eaten all day. She was slightly amused at the girl's behavior- very like the men at her own king's table. So it was not entirely without precident when she asked between her own small bites, "Are there no other women at your Lord's house?"
